This is the new Bose Lifestyle 50.

The bose lifestyle 50 comprises a six disc CD changer, an FM / MW tuner, the Jewel cube, Dolby Digital acoustimass speaker system and the PMC touch screen control pad.

The bose lifestyle 50 is a full home cinema system that can support Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital 5.1 and AC3. The bose lifestyle 50 will even play stereo and mono sources in five speaker surround, something no other system on the market can do.

The 'brain' of the bose lifestyle 50 is in a hide away room commander, this is capable of sending music to up to four different rooms with independent volume and source control. That means for example, that you could have the TV sound in the living room, the radio in the kitchen, the CD in one bedroom and the radio again in another bedroom. All this from one hi-fi system and four sets of speakers!

The bose lifestyle is not cheap but then the really best things never are. This is a complete home hi-fi solution and looked at in that context it is extremely good value.
